A while ago, I happened to see the movie “Moon”, and recommended it. Well, it looks like they’ve put the first seven minutes of the movie up on the internet. You can watch it here, courtesy of the Independent Film Channel:
Pretty clever mashup. One word of advice: if you get caught at the very end of the level, you only need to build the outline.
Google recently added a new feature to search. They teamed-up with a few other companies to place music in their search results. As far as I can tell, they provide four full tracks and links where you can buy their music. Pretty cool stuff, and a good way to check-out music by bands if you don’t know much about them. Free Flash-based versions of Doom, Hexen, and Heretic. Play them here. (Hmm, reminds me of college.)
Coldplay is giving away a free copy of their album (9 songs). This is apparently a way to drive up concert sales — they released the free album on the same day their North American tour started; free downloads will end on the last day of their tour in August. I’ve never been a big fan of Coldplay, but I figure there’s no reason not to check it out. If you like free music, get it here (FYI: they ask for your email address, but your email address is not verified by their website).
